The Bridgeport Independent School District, in partnership with parents and community, will provide an educational environment for ALL students that is conducive to learning. Recruit and maintain a highly-qualified staff of professionals and paraprofessionals who are dynamic, knowledgeable, and innovative life-long learners. Provide a safe and drug-free environment. Under the leadership of BISD administrators, teachers will integrate available technological tools throughout the curriculum to maximize the effectiveness of classroom instruction and increase student mastery of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Improve partnership with parents and community members through open communication, mutual respect, cooperation, and collaboration. Preparing students for successful post-secondary opportunities including higher education and the workforce. Provide services to migrant students who are failing or at risk.
