Because our citizens hold confidence in our schools and recognize the importance of an exceptional education, L-E ISD enjoys extensive community support. The Liberty-Eylau community includes a diverse mix of rural and urban life. Within its boundaries, residents can find economical apartment complexes and quaint neighborhoods, as well as large farms and ranches. In the past few years, the L-E community has grown rapidly as families move outside the Texarkana city limits to enjoy the peacefulness the community offers. Businesses have also begun to take note of the availability of land opened by the expansion of Loop 151 and the I-69 project.

More than 50 local community members and business owners have signed up to serve as community partners - a group that volunteers services and financial support. The best part about the Liberty-Eylau community is its strong sense of family and dedication to its school district. Students, parents, community leaders, alumni and staff all share a great passion for the district and work together to see it succeed. An alliance of L-E community ministers meets regularly to discuss concerns within the community. In addition, and L-E alumni association is in the works for graduates who want to give back to the district.
