Webinar: Best Practices for Training Drivers to Train Students in Bus Safety
Featuring: Victoria Pierce DeCarlo
May 28, 2015 – 10 a.m. CST
With more than 23 years’ experience as a school bus driver in New York State, Victoria Pierce DeCarlo is passionate about one thing above all others – ensuring the students she drives are safe. She created the Steffi Crossing Enhancer, a product that school districts across the United States have started implementing into their student transportation programs to help remind students to look both ways before they cross.
“It’s in the bus drivers hands to constantly with no rest repeat and remind our students on how to stay safe in and around their school bus. We have a huge responsibility and total dedication on behalf of the lives we pick up and drop off every day,” Victoria said.
In this webinar, Victoria will share insights from her experience as a bus driver over the last 23 years on best practices for school bus drivers to implement when training students.
